Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information rager.live ("we," "us," "Rager") collects from users of the rager.live website and related services (collectively, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account we collect the email address and optional display name you provide, and an encrypted password stored by our authentication provider (Supabase).

Activity data. We store the shows you save, mark as interested or going, check in to, rate, comment on, and the rewards points and badges you earn.

Device and usage data. We receive standard server and analytics data including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL. Our analytics provider, Plausible Analytics, collects aggregate usage data without cookies and without tracking users across sites. No personal identifiers are stored.

Outbound link clicks. When you click a ticket, rideshare, or other partner link, we record the destination (without your identity) to measure which partners serve our users best. Partners may append their own tracking identifiers to the destination URL; their privacy policies govern that processing.

Location. If you grant browser location access, we use your approximate location only to sort cities by proximity. We do not store precise location.

Local storage. Anonymous users' saved shows, check-ins, and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage until (or unless) you create an account.

How we use information

We use your information to operate the Service, sync your data across devices, award and process rewards points and redemptions, communicate with you about your account, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as Supabase for authentication and database, and our hosting and analytics providers), with partner venues or merchants when you redeem a reward, and when required by law.

Affiliate relationships

Some links on rager.live — including ticketing links (such as SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, and venue box-office partners) and rideshare links (such as Uber and Lyft) — are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a purchase or sign-up, we may earn a commission from the partner at no additional cost to you. These relationships do not influence which shows, artists, or venues we surface; editorial and discovery decisions are made independently. We share only aggregate click data with affiliate partners, not your identity.

Your choices

You can review and update your account information, sign out on any device, and delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account removes your profile and activity data from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records (for example, to document a completed payout).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Data retention

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, non-identifying data may be kept to improve the Service.

Children

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children below that age.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
